Custom Filters can be added to the Subjects list view allowing you to query the subject database. Subjects can be filtered on information such as assigned demographics, age, consent status, date added to the database, assigned testing locations, participation in tests to create attendance reports, and whether they have a active portal account. The filtered Subjects list can be downloaded to Excel. The Excel file contains the Subject's personal identifiable information (PII) and assigned demographics.

To filter subjects:
- From the RECRUITING section, select SUBJECTS from the left navigation pane.
- Click on the filter icon.
- From the Custom Filterswindow, select the tab for the type of filter to add.
NOTE – Selections can be made on one or more tabs. When more than one filter selection is made the filter is all inclusive and all criteria must be met for a subject to be included in the list.
ADULT WITH MINOR – Search for Adult Heads of Household that have children under the age of 18 years old in their household. The criteria entered here is based on the minor subject's information. Enter the Minor Min Age and Minor Max Age range to filter. Select the Time Frame, years or months, for the age entered. The minor's age is based on the date of birth entered in their profile. Additionally, search for and Select minor demographic to filter on from the drop-down list.
AGE – Enter a Min Age and Max Age range to filter. Select the Time Frame, years or months, for the age entered. The subject's age is based on the date of birth entered in their profile.ATTENDANCE – Enter the From Date and To Date range to filter. The Attendance date is when a subject participated in testing. If a subject participated in at least one test within the specified date range they will be included in the filter. Participation Count and Participation Compensation is included in the Excel download, indicating the total number of tests attended and the total amount compensated.
NOTE – To export an attendance report, first Filter Subjects by Attendance to specify the participation date range then choose the Include Attendance Report option to tab out subjects by the individual tests participated in.
CONSENT – Select the status of each of the Consent types to filter by. See Obtaining and Monitoring Consent from Subjects for further details.
CREATE DATE – Enter the From Date and To Date range to filter. The Create Date is the date that the subject was added to the database.
DEMOGRAPHICS – Search for and Select demographic to filter on from the drop-down list.
LOCATIONS – Select the testing Location(s) to filter. Locations(s) are assigned to each subject in their profile.
PORTAL SUBJECT – Select whether the subject Has Portal Account or Does Not Have Portal Account. - Click on [SAVE].
- The total number of subjects and the selected filters display.
- Click the (X) to remove any one of the selected filters and the X on the far right side of the screen to clear all filters.
