With GDPR now implemented in the EU, RedJade has made it easier for our RedJade Clients to obtain consent from their subjects.

  • For more information, please see RedJade's GDPR OverviewPrivacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • There are currently three ways to obtain and/or track consent within RedJade.
    1. Through Recruiting Campaign Email Blasts
    2. Through the Call Loop (Recruit By Phone)
    3. From the Recruiting Subjects page
  • Once the Consent Agreement has been activated, subjects that have not yet responded to Terms and Contact Permissions will continue to be available for recruiting.
  • Subjects will go through the consent process from an email blast or call loop on first interaction with RedJade once Consent is activated.

Disclaimer: This Consent Agreement tool is offered as a way to help you track consent within RedJade. RedJade is in no way providing legal advice on GDPR compliance. You should contact your legal counsel with respect to your organization's GDPR compliance.

Overview

  • Subjects that have not responded to Terms and Contact Permissions will continue to be available for recruiting - subjects will go through the consent process from an email blast or call loop on first interaction with RedJade once Consent is activated.
  • The subject will be excluded from future recruits if the subject does not consent to the Terms.
  • The subject will be excluded from future recruits if the subject does not consent to at least one of the Contact Permissions, E-mail or Telephone.
  • If the subject has consented to Terms and agreed be contacted by email, the subject will show in possible subjects in email blasts (assuming not excluded from the campaign for another reason).
  • If the subject has consented to Terms and has not agreed to be contacted by Telephone, the subject will not show in the CALL NEXT loop. The subject will show if searched for with "Does not want calls" visible to the right of their name.

Activating the Consent Agreement

The Consent Agreement can be added within RecruitingFrom the main Recruiting page, click on SETTINGS from the left bar. Select the CONSENT AGREEMENT tab, then click on "Ask consent" to enable (the slider button will turn blue).

Click on [EDIT] to modify the Consent Agreement.

  • Add your Terms of Service and your Contact Policy Descriptions.
  • RedJade is referenced as the data processor with a link to our Privacy Policy, which is automatically added below your Terms of Service Descriptions.

Below the Contact Policy Description, there are three options.

  • No Action This leaves all subjects set as they currently are for Consent and Contact Permissions.
  • Reset All  This will force all subjects who have already consented to a consent agreement to re-consent to the agreement you are about to publish. Please make sure this is your intent before proceeding.
  • Assign All  This will set all subjects as having agreed to this agreement and also mark them as accepting of calls and emails. Only select this response if you are confident that you have asked subjects consent outside of RedJade and know they will not object. Selecting this option may violate GDPR - consult with your legal counsel for further information.
  • Reset All and Assign All are tracked in Subject History.

Three Methods for Obtaining and/or Tracking Consent

Email Blasts

The subject clicks the qualifying URL in the email.

Because Fred Williams had not been contacted previously for consent, the Consent and Contact Permissions statements is shown to the subject. Note that RedJade's Privacy Policy is part of the footer as the data processor.

The subject can read the information and provide Consent and Contact Permissions.

The subject then continues with the recruiting screener.

Fred Williams' data is monitored on his Subject>Contact page. Fred consented to the terms and opted to receive calls and emails. This is also displayed on the Subject information on the left-hand pane.

The Subject>History page indicates the Subject Consented to the Terms of Service on June 03 2018.

Call Loop

The recruiter clicks to call the next subject. Once the subject has answered, the call loop proceeds.

Because Orville Bean had not been contacted previously for consent, the Consent and Contact Permissions statements can be read by the recruiter. Note that RedJade's Privacy Policy is part of the footer as the data processor.

Once the recruiter reads the document, the subject can consent to the terms and contact methods.

The recruiter then continues with the recruiting screener.

Orville Bean's data is monitored on his Subject>Contact page. Orville consented to the terms and opted to receive calls and emails. This is also displayed on the Subject information on the left-hand pane.

The Subject>History page indicates the Subject Consented to the Terms of Service by speaking with Steve Willis on June 03 2018.

From the Subject Page

The recruiting manager clicks the Subject>Contact page.

The recruiting manager changes the settings and clicks the green [SUBMIT] button after supplying the subject with the relevant consent and contact information.

Refreshing the screen shows the updated Contact Information on the Contact screen and in the subject details screen in the left-hand pane.

The Subject>History page indicates the Subject Consented to the Terms of Service by speaking with Steve Willis on June 03 2018.

You can view the version of the consent form agreed to by clicking the Terms of Service in the History.
