Anonymous Access allows a recruiting campaign to be accessed by people who are not part of your existing subject database. A shared url is created that can be posted to a company website, social media sites and printed marketing materials. The link can also be sent to existing subjects so that they can share it with anyone that may be interested in participating. From the link they will be presented with the opportunity to sign up for a portal account or continue without an account to participate once, only for the associated test. Subjects with an existing My RedJade Portal accounts can also log in to complete the recruiting screener.

Allow Anonymous Access for a Campaign


To allow anonymous access:

  1. From the Recruiting section in RedJade, click on [VIEW/EDIT] for a Campaign.


  2. Select the Detail step from the left navigation pane.



  3. Check the option to Allow anonymous access.



  4. Enter the Campaign URL link identifier for the shared url used to access the recruiting screener. A QR Code is automatically generated for the shared url. 


    NOTE – The link identifier for the shared url must be unique for each campaign.




  5. Optionally, click on the blue copy to clipboard button to copy the shared url.

    To copy or save the QR Code, click the blue [QR CODE] button. Alternatively, right-click on the QR Code and select Save image as... or Copy Image.


    NOTE – The shared url and QR Code can be posted to a company website, social media sites and printed marketing materials, as desired.



  6. Click on [SUBMIT].





Send an Anonymous Access Link by Email Blast



To email blast an anonymous access link:

  1. From the Recruiting section in RedJade, click on [VIEW/EDIT] for a Campaign.


  2. Select the Email Blasts step from the left navigation pane.



  3. Click on [CREATE] to setup a new blast or [VIEW/EDIT] to modify an existing blast.



  4. From the Dynamic Content area, add the {{campaign_url}} text to the content of the email. The text will be automatically replaced with the campaign's shared url when the blast is sent.


    An Email Blast can be sent containing both a {{qualify_url}} and {{campaign_url}}. The {{qualify_url}} allows immediate and direct access to the screener as the recipient of the email blast. The {{campaign_url}} can be shared/forwarded to others that may be interested in participating.

    When an Email Blast is sent containing only a {{campaign_url}}, the recipient of the email blast can access the recruiting screener in one of the following manners:
    • Sign In if they have an active My RedJade Portal account
    • Sign Up if they are an existing Subject without an active My RedJade Portal account
    • Choose to Participate Once which will reference their existing subject record, based on the email address they provide

    NOTE – If the recipient of the email blast forwards their email with the {{qualify_url}} in it, the forwarding recipient can gain access to the email blast recipient's screener if it has not yet been completed. The Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email also allows the forwarding recipient to gain access to the email blast recipient's consent information. You should advise your blast recipients of this if they intend to forward an email blast that contains a {{campaign_url}}.


  5. Configure the remainder of the email blast, as desired.


  6. Click on [SUBMIT].




Use an Anonymous Access Link to Take a Recruiting Screener


To use the anonymous access link:

  1. Click the campaign's shared url.


  2. Choose the method by which to take the recruiting screener.

    NOTE – The "choose how you would like to participate" screen can be bypassed to force a single/predetermined method. Click the button of the desired method to force, then copy the browser url and sharing that method's specific url with potential subjects.




    Log In
    Subjects with an active My RedJade Portal account can sign in using their email address and password. The associated recruiting screener will immediately load upon successful sign in.

    Sign Up
    Anyone new wishing to join your recruiting database or existing subjects without an active portal account can sign up and activate an account. The associated recruiting screener will immediately load upon successful sign up.

    Participate Once
    Anyone that would like to participate in the test can access the recruiting screener. They will be required to provide an Email Address, First Name and Last Name so that a Recruiting Manager can follow-up and track participation for the associated test. A Subject record is created with their Consent set to Declined, so that they are not contacted to participate in any other recruiting campaigns. They can choose to Sign Up for an account later if they wish to become an active member of your recruiting database. If an existing Subject uses the Participate Once options, the system references their existing subject record, based on the email address they provided.
