Participant evaluates a group of samples, arranging them in a two-dimensional canvas (nappe) according to how similar or different they consider samples to be from one another. Each participant uses his own criteria to position samples. Samples which are perceived to be similar are placed close together and samples which are perceived to be different are placed well apart. There are no good or bad answers.
