Skipping a timer allows the study coordinator to have a participant bypass an active timer. Once a timer has been skipped the participant can proceed with the remainder of the questionnaire or on to the next serving. The Enable Timer Skips option must be enabled on the test for timers to be skipped.

To skip a timer from serving console:

  1. Use the mouse cursor and hover over the booth tile. The tile flips to reveal additional options.

    NOTE – From touchscreen devises you can tap the tile to flip it. From Android and MS Surface tablets, first lightly flick the tile then tap it to flip.





  2. Click on Skip Timer to clear the active timer. The participant may now continue to the next page. The Skip Timer option is only visible if enabled on the test.

    NOTE – For questionnaire timers in an active questionnaire, the timer can be skipped as soon as the questionnaire becomes active. If there is more than one questionnaire timer, all of them will be cleared and skipped for the participant's active questionnaire.



  3. A confirmation displays indicating the timer has been skipped for the participant.
