We will soon introduce changes to the Implicit Association Question type. These enhancements are meant to improve the overall execution and better adhere to Implicit Test protocol best practices. See Test Setup: Implicit Association Testing for further details.

Who is impacted by this change?
Implicit tests using the Association Question type.
What is changing?
Currently, the participant clicks a Start button to begin the Association Question evaluation.
Now when the Association question displays the participant will be automatically instructed to enter one of the response keys to begin the evaluation. Additionally, a new "Instructions" section has been added directly to the Association question configuration for easy of setup.
Additional enhancements include:
- Mobile support using onscreen buttons
- Spacebar input as a response key
- Automatically show key map instructions below question text
- Optional countdown time before starting to answer
- Configurable delay time between responses
- Configurable speed limit thresholds and warning messages when responding too fast or too slow
- Response size can be adjusted and text can be formatted using HTML
- Response media can be added

Review the configuration on your existing tests that use the Implicit Association Question. After the enhancements are released, make the desired adjustments for your upcoming Implicit tests. See Test Setup: Implicit Association Testing for further details.
