In the upcoming weeks RedJade will be releasing a new Check-In Kiosk Station feature, allowing participants scheduled for a test to check themselves in at a dedicated computer or tablet set up in the reception area at your testing facility. See Check-In Kiosk Station for the support articles with details on configuring and using the new Check-In Kiosk feature.

This release will introduce changes to existing functionality within RedJade, both necessary to support the new Check-In Kiosk Station feature and aimed towards improving overall user experience. Although there will be noticeable changes to how some screens display, it's important to note that the general workflows for check-in and station sign-in continues to be the same with just some visual modifications. These changes and how they may affect existing users and tests are outlined below.

RELEASE TIMELINE:

The release is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 4pm PST and requires up to 3 hours of downtime to complete a data migration. RedJade may be inaccessible during this time. An in-app notification will be posted once the feature release is completed.

4. ADDITIONAL ENHANCMENTS

The following enhancements throughout RedJade will also be included with this feature release. These enhancements are not expected to impact existing tests, they simply provide additional configuration capabilities:

  • Onsite Serving Console displays a new sign-in status, indicating when the station is on the new Sign-In screen, on the Event Select screen when multiple events are scheduled, on the Participant Entry screen waiting to start the test, etc.
  • Self Check-In now works using Imported Participants.
  • Assisted Check-In has a new sub-option that allows for "Scheduled or Qualified" (Alternate or Qualified Accepted) subjects to be checked-in and participate in events without being scheduled for a session.
  • Add Participants button allows to search and select a Subjects from the Recruiting database to add as a Participant in an event. This allows for bypassing the campaign screener/qualification process if you wish to directly add a subject as a participant.
  • Participants page layout is now a table view by default. Previously this layout was only applied when multiple participant groups were added.
  • Multiple Participant Groups for Online Tests, as well as Self Check-In and Descriptive Tests, can now be configured within an event.
  • Simultaneous Testing-Participants Select Multiple Tests to Take at the Same Time:
    • Self Check-in now works where the participant have to enter there email once at Sign-In and it loops them through all the selected events.
    • Assisted Check-In now works by the Event Select screen being presented at check-in and a staff member can select the events. Participants from each event are matched my email for presenting the Event Select screen.
    • Note: All scheduled events must use the same check-in type to work with Self and Assisted Check-in.
