Additional block rows (overage) is automatically added to the block. By default a ratio of 1.3, or 30%, over the number of participants entered at the Participants step of the wizard is added. The Padding Ratio can be adjusted, between a ratio of 1.0 (no padding) and 2.0 (double), relative to the number of participants. The default Padding Ratio can also be adjusted and will apply to all new design blocks created.
To adjust the block padding ratio:
- From the Design Block's Participant Group tab, click the the setting cog and select Block Padding.
- Edit the Padding Ratio value.
NOTE – Increasing the group's padding ratio will not rebuild the approved block, it will add rows to the end of the block which may impact the balance. Check the design block Position Distribution tab for further details. To rebuild the entire block, click Edit then Approve a new design.
Optionally, click on the Your Default value to edit the default ratio. Click the arrow icon, between the Padding Ratio and Your Default, to apply the default to the current block. - Click on [SUBMIT], the number of block rows is updated.
