Company administrators can specify several default options in the RedJade® Suite. These default options are applied to new tests that are created; changes to the defaults do not propagate to existing tests. Each option can be modified for each test, as desired.
NOTE – Editing Company Default Settings can only be done by a company administrator. |

To set the company defaults:
- From the ADMIN section, select SETTINGS from the left navigation menu.
- Select the COMPANY DEFAULTS tab along the top of the page.
- The following default options can be configured:
Blinding Codes
Select the default blinding code mode for new tests that are created. The available options are:- Assigned Blinding Codes – A fixed code is assigned to each serve of each sample. Only the specified code for each sample can be used to verify the sample's survey. Assigned Blinding Codes can be edited from the Design Block section of each test.
- Dynamic Blinding Codes – A Blinding Code Bucket is assigned to each sample in the project's Sample List. Any of the codes from a sample's Blinding Code Bucket can be used to verify the sample's survey. Blinding Code Buckets can be modified from the Admin>Settings section, under the Blinding Codes tab.

Select the default Sample Entry Mode for new Single Sample(s), Discrimination and Multiple Samples, With Multiple Samples questionnaires that are created. The available options are:- Verify – Participants must enter a sample code before starting the survey
- Confirm – Participants acknowledge the code on their sample matches what is on screen
- Skip – Assume the participant received the correct sample and automatically start the survey

If Confirm or Skip is selected, choose the default Sample Display option for new Single Sample(s) and Multiple Samples, With Multiple Samples questionnaires that are created. The available options are:- Code – Displays the sample's Assigned Blinding Code.
- Name – Displays the sample's Report Name as entered in Sample Details.
Non-Sample Entry Mode
Select the default Non-Sample Entry Mode for new No Samples and Multiple Samples, After Multiple Samplesquestionnaires that are created. The available options are:- Verify – Participants must enter a sample code before starting the survey
- Confirm – Participants acknowledge the code on their sample matches what is on screen
- Skip – Assume the participant received the correct sample and automatically start the survey

If Confirm or Skip is selected, choose the default Non-Sample Display option for new No Samples and Multiple Samples, After Multiple Samples questionnaires that are created. The available options are:- Code – Displays a 99 as code from Design Block.
- Name – Displays the Questionnaire Name.
