Abandoning a booth allows the study coordinator to free up a booth prior to all servings being completed by the participant. Abandon is typically used in the following scenarios:

  • The participant is unable to complete all servings due to time constraints.
  • The booth computer is not functioning properly and the participant is being moved to a new booth.
  • A sample has been skipped and will not be evaluated. See Skip Sample for further details.

NOTE – From touchscreen devises you can tap the tile to flip it. From Android and MS Surface tablets, first lightly flick the tile then tap it to flip.

  2. Click on Abandon to remove the participant from the booth.

  3. A new participant can now sign in to that booth and/or the participant can now sign in to another booth.
