The Subjects list can be downloaded to Excel. The Excel file contains the Subject's personal identifiable information (PII) and any assigned demographics selected in the export configuration window. When Custom Filters are added to the Subjects list view, only Subjects that are actively displayed will be included in the Excel file.

SEE ALSO – Filter Subjects for further details on creating Custom Filters and Manage Downloads for further details on how to manage downloads in RedJade.

To download subjects:

  1. From the RECRUITING section, select SUBJECTS from the left navigation pane.

  2. Click on [...] and select Download.

NOTE – The download may take several minutes to complete, depending on the total number of subjects and categories selected.

  3. The Configure Export window opens.

Optionally, select the demographics to include in the Excel file. Select individual demographics from the drop-down or click on ADD ALL to include all demographics.

Select the desired Options to included in the Excel file, in addition to the standard Subjects list:
    • Include Email Blast Report A tab is added with summary counts of email blasts sent to each subject.
    • Include Attendance Report Individual tabs are added for each Test that the subjects participated in.

NOTE – To export an attendance report, first Filter Subjects by Attendance to specify the participation date range then choose the Attendance By Test Export Format option to tab out subjects by the individual tests participated in.

  4. Click on [SUBMIT].

  5. Open the downloaded file.

The data that displays contains the Subject's personal identifiable information (PII) and any assigned demographics selected in the export configuration window. The Participation Count column indicates how many tests the subject has participated in and the Participation Compensation column indicates the total compensation for those tests.

With the Include Email Blast Report option selected the export file includes a tab with all subjects listed and a tab with summary counts of email blasts sent to each subject.

    • Total Sent  All emails that have been sent.
    • Opened All emails that were delivered and opened.
    • Unopened All emails that were delivered but not opened.
    • Invalid email Email was hard bounced by the recipient's mail provider. Typically the email address is not valid, does not exist, or emails are being blocked by the recipient's mail server. Email was not delivered.
    • Soft bounce Email was bounced by the recipients mail provider. For example: the recipient's inbox is full (user has reached their email quota), recipient's mail server was down when email sent, email too large for recipient's mailbox. Email was not delivered.
    • Marked as spam – Email was marked as SPAM by either the recipient's mail provider or by the recipient.
    • Unsubscribed  Recipient has chosen to unsubscribe through their mail program's unsubscribe option/button. RedJade's mail provider automatically adds a List-Unsubscribe header to all emails that include a system-generated unsubscribe link. If recipients use an email program that supports the List-Unsubscribe header (like Hotmail, AOL, or Yahoo), they can use the option in their email program to unsubscribe.
    • Unkown  A response was not returned from the recipient's mail program. These emails may have been delivered and opened.

With the Include Attendance Report option selected the export file includes a tab with all subjects listed and individual tabs for each Test that the subjects participated in.
