Standard Deviation can be reported in Topline Analysis. Select the Standard Deviation option from a question's Table menu in Live Results. There are two Standard Deviation Modes available, Population and Sample. The mode can be changed in Topline Analysis Settings for each test. Population is the default mode.

Standard Deviation in Topline Analysis

To display the Standard Deviation in Topline Analysis, select the Standard Deviation option from a question's Table menu. 


To display Standard Deviation:

  1. Go to Analyses and click on [VIEW] for the desired test.



  2. Select a questionnaire under Topline Analysis to view Live Results.



  3. Select the Table menu for a question and check Standard Deviation.


    NOTE – Standard Deviation is only available for Interval and Overall Opinion Reporting Types.


    The Standard Deviation displays at the bottom of the table.




Standard Deviation Mode

To change the Standard Deviation Mode for a test, select Analysis Settings from Topline Analysis. 


To change the Standard Deviation Mode:

  1. Go to Analyses and click on [VIEW] for the desired test.



  2. Click the settings icon and select Analysis Settings.



  3. Click the drop-down menu for Standard Deviation Mode and select the desired mode.
