The non-sample entry mode allows you to set defaults for non-sample based questionnaires including No Samples and Multiple Samples (After Samples). The options include:

  • Skip (Default for existing and new companies)
  • Confirm
  • Verify

NOTE – Copying an existing questionnaire will keep the same Entry Mode as the questionnaire being copied.

Skip does not require the participant to enter a code to continue to the non-sample questionnaire. This is the recommended entry mode for non-sample questionnaires.

Confirm asks the participant to verify that the code in front of them matches the code on their screen. This mode is not-recommended for non-sample questionnaires.

Verify forces the participant to enter a code to start the survey (typically 99). This method is not recommended for non-sample questionnaires as the consumer would not know the code to be entered.

The default Non-Sample Entry Mode can be modified when creating a new questionnaire by clicking the Sample Entry Mode drop-down.

The Survey Overview will be labeled with the Sample Entry Mode selected.

The Sample Entry Mode can also be changed by clicking the down arrow on the ADD QUESTIONS button and selecting Edit.
