If you need another design for a test, you can add one at any time. When adding, select the questionnaires to use with the test, then create or move a participant group to the new design. You can delete a design, as well.

Add a Design


To add a design:

  1. From the Design Block step, click on +ADD DESIGN.



  2. In the Create Block Design window, complete the Name field (if desired), then select all the questionnaires to use for the test.


    Click on [SUBMIT].


  3. Select the tab for the new design to go to the design view, then Create or Move Participant Group.




Create or Move Participant Group

A design must have one or more participant groups to be able to build the design block.

To create or move a participant group:

  1. To create a new participant group for the new design, select the tab for the new design to go to the design view.


    Click [CREATE PARTICIPANT GROUP].


  2. Complete the Create Participant Group window fields with the event and participant group details, then click on [SUBMIT].

    The participant group is added.



  3. Alternatively, to move an existing participant group tab to the new design, select the tab for an existing design.

    Select Move To Design # from the participant group's settings drop-down menu.


    The participant group is moved to the new design.



  4. Configure, build and approve the design block as required.

Delete a Design

A design must have no participant groups to be able to delete it. The participant groups can be moved to another design or deleted.

To delete/move a participant group and delete a design:

  1. From the Design Block page, select the design tab to be deleted.



  2. Select Delete Group or Move To Design # from the participant group's settings drop-down menu.

    NOTE – Participant groups can not be deleted if participants have signed in and started data collection. In this case move the participant group to another design. Otherwise, to delete participants that have already started to collect data, see Delete a Participant Signed In to a Test


    The participant group if deleted or moved.


  3. Once there are no Participant Groups in the design, select Delete from the design's settings drop-down menu.


    The design is deleted.
