Samples can be added upon creating a new project or can be added or updated later. Every sample requires an identifier. By default, the identifiers are incremented integers, but can be edited to be text strings. Every sample identifier in a project must be unique and can have a reporting name. The system assigns each sample a color, but you can change it. The color is used in the design block and in data charts. The Import Samples feature can also be used to create and update samples or to download the sample list and details.

To add and edit samples:
- Select PROJECTS from the main drop-down menu or select the Projects tile from the home page dashboard.
- From the Projects list, click on the [PID], Name, or [SUMMARY] button to open the project.
- From the Test Dashboard, click on [SHOW SAMPLES].
- To add samples in a list view, click on [QUICK ADD].
- Enter a Report Name and complete the sample details to the right, then click on [ADD].
NOTE – Sample Report Name is optional. when left blank, the Sample Identifier will display i your rest's results. The sample is added to the list on the left.
- To create a copy of a sample, select a sample on the left then click on [COPY].
A copy of the sample is added to the list on the left. Edit the Report Name and sample details, as desired.
- To add a sample individually, click on [+CREATE SAMPLE].
Complete the Sample Details, as desired, then click on [SAVE].
- Click the sample tile to edit a sample individually.
Edit the Sample Details, as desired, then click on [SAVE].
- To delete a sample, click on [DELETE] above the Sample Details window.
The sample is removed.
