Modalities apply to line scale questions in the Questionnaire Builder and are typically used in descriptive tests. Modalities are one of the primary forms of sensation of the product, such as appearance (sight), aroma (smell) or flavor (taste). Modalities use two-letter codes. You can change the code and name, as well as add or remove modalities. Modalities are specific to a test.
