The Test Dashboard provides a snapshot of the current state of the test. It shows the number of days a test is scheduled, the number of participants and the number checked in, as well as the number of surveys created. A green checkbox in the top-right corner of each tile indicates that the test is complete and ready for launch. You can drill down to each section and edit details.
Multiple events can be added to a test, with each event specifying the location and participant details. Tests can include one or multiple events, where participants take part in surveys. Surveys are comprised of one or more questionnaires tailored to the servings presented.
A test defines a test type: acceptance, descriptive, discrimination, qualitative or other and each has different design requirements.
A questionnaire is a sequence of questions for participants, presented one page at a time. Questionnaires may be developed for single-sample servings, multi-sample servings, or non-sample servings.
Each test has a design block, representing the order of servings with questionnaires to participants. Each participant group is assigned to a design block.
Each tile, for scheduling, participants, questionnaires and design block, includes a checkmark in the upper-right corner indicating whether the requirements for launch have been met.
To be ready for launch, a test must meet the following minimum requirements:
One or more events (onsite, offsite or online) with one or more participant group
- For an onsite event, a reservation must be scheduled
One or more questionnaires, with one or more questions added to each questionnaire
- One or more design blocks and all designs must be approved
- For "Assisted Check-In," subjects need to be identified (imported, added manually, panel selected, or scheduled through a recruiting campaign)
- For "Self Check-In" subjects must be added in Recruiting with an email or code specified in their profile, or participants must be added/imported in the Event with an email or external id (if configured in Participant Sign-In Strategies).
When all checkmarks are enabled (green), you can launch the test, enabling data collection.
You can edit the test information, regions, modalities and export the design block and blinding codes. Regions and modalities apply to Line Scale Questions in the Questionnaire Builder. You can also archive a test.
NOTE – If you edit regions and modalities, the changes apply to all tests. |
