In the Admin section in the RedJade® Suite you can define default values for probability statistics used in data analysis.
NOTE – You can change the default values, as desired, on each test. See also Configure Questionnaire Reporting for further details. |
To set Analyses default values:
- From ADMIN menu, select DEFAULTS.
- From the ANALYSIS tab, select a default value from each of the dropdown lists:
- P-Value Sig Level (alpha) – The probability of obtaining a result equal to or more extreme than what was actually observed, when the null hypothesis is true. Choose from 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, or 0.2.
- Post Hoc Method – The type of test conducted "after the fact" to compare means and determine statistically significant differences in data. Available options are Duncan, Tukey, and LSD.
- Post Hoc Mode – Choose to Run Always or to only Run if Significant.
- ANOVA Stat Model – Select the GLM Calculation to determine significance. The models are used when determining errors & residuals. The models that we currently have available are:
- Sample
- Participant + Sample
- Participant + Sample + Participant*Sample (interaction)
- Participant + Sample + Repetition
- Participant + Sample + Order
- P-Value Sig Level (alpha) – The probability of obtaining a result equal to or more extreme than what was actually observed, when the null hypothesis is true. Choose from 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, or 0.2.
