Notification settings allow you to specify for which items in the RedJade® Suite you wish to receive notifications and whether you want to receive those notifications in RedJade, by email, none or both. Notifications within RedJade appear in the title bar.

A Company Administrator has the ability to manage user's notification settings within the organization. See Review or Change User Notifications for further details.

Set Up Notifications

Set up notification methods and types within RedJade to your liking, such as whether to receive email messages for some notification types. 


NOTE – Field Site Managers for offsite hosting facilities should specify a notification for all of the event hosting items. See Set Up An Offsite Hosting Facility.



To set up notifications:

  1. From the title bar, click on the notifications icon then click the settings icon.



  2. Alternatively, from the ADMIN section select PROFILE from the left navigation pane.



  3. Select the NOTIFICATIONS tab.



  4. Check the boxes for IN APP and/or EMAIL of each item as desired to enable the notification. Uncheck the box to disable the notification.


  5. Click on [SUBMIT].




Work With In App Notifications

Your in app notifications can be accessed at any time from the title bar. You can view a drop-down list of notification to read, search or delete a message. When there are new unread notifications, a blue badge with the count of unread notifications displays in the top right corner on the notifications icon.



To work with in app notifications:

  1. From the title bar, click on the notifications icon. A list of the last ten recent notification messages display. New notifications that have not been viewed display an a blue badge in the top left corner.


    Click on an item in the list to open and view the notification message.


  2. Click on [Go to Page] to go directly to page in RedJade the notification is in reference to. Click Back to close the notification message and return to the list. The notification is marked as read.



  3. You can click the arrow icon to view the next 10 items in the list.  If there are several unread notifications, you can click on the checkmark icon to mark all as read.

    Click the trash can icon to delete a notification from the list. Deleted notifications cannot be retrieved.
